The TACOPS® Merlin Roll Up Packable Backpack is one of the most versatile packs offered by TSSi. Not only is this a popular backpack for deployment and military use, its size and packing capabilities are ideal for the civilian user. Whether you’re hiking your favorite mountain trail, camping with your buddies by the lake, or trekking through desert terrain on your latest deployment, the TACOPS® Merlin has all the features you need to make your latest adventure a success!

With a spacious main compartment measuring at 24” x 12.5” x 10”, there’s plenty of room to pack your essentials. The main compartment also features an elastic drawstring closure to keep gear secure.

The Merlin is hydration-compatible with a reservoir sleeve (sold separately) and hydration port allowing more space for additional gear. A front zippered compartment and a hood pouch increase storage, totaling up to 1680 cubic inches of overall pack space.

When the bag is not in use, stow it away into the 10” x 7” x 3” integrated hood pouch which is secured with dual Fastex® closures. This allows the bag to be stored in a main backpack or suitcase until ready for use. When it’s time for another camping trip or deployment, it takes a matter of seconds to unpack the Merlin and begin to fill it with your favorite gear.

Additional features include two outer overlapping pockets, outer daisy chain loop attachment points and side mesh pockets with drawstring closures. Keep comfortable with adjustable padded shoulder straps, sternum straps and a storable waist strap.
