The 'Future Land Forces' conference was held in Warsaw, Poland, on November 7-9, bringing together a group of authoritative speakers comprised of leading industry experts, program managers, capability and requirements teams, front-line commanders, engineers, and scientists. Hundreds of attendees from the NATO community and industry partners joined to discuss strategies for joint land forces to maintain advantage in an ever-shifting world shaped by technology, climate change, and increasingly aggressive peers.

CURRENT & RAPIDLY EVOLVING CHALLENGES FACED BY JOINT LAND FORCES

Globally, our allied land forces face numerous advanced threats, including unmanned aerial systems, anti-armor rounds, loitering munitions, and electronic warfare. Success in future land warfare requires innovative and cutting-edge solutions to meet the characteristics of the information age battlefield, as future equipment will be more lethal, expeditionary, and integrated, centered around digital capabilities.
